March 31, 2021 - SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Denim Group, the leading independent application security firm, today announced that it has won multiple awards in the 2021 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards and the 2021 Globee Cyber Security Global Excellence Awards for product excellence, innovation and leadership in the information security industry.
“We are honored to be recognized by these award programs for our continued efforts to provide a superior solution for software development and application security programs”
In the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards, the company won gold for Vulnerability Management and silver for Application Security. Additionally, they won three gold awards for the categories Chief Technology Officer of the Year, Security Services, and Software Development Security, silver for Vulnerability Assessment, Remediation and Management, and bronze for Application Security and Testing in the Globee Awards.
As companies continue to expand and onboard applications at a faster rate, the ability to quickly and efficiently manage and prioritize vulnerabilities is more critical than ever. Denim Group’s vulnerability management platform, ThreadFix, identifies and prevents vulnerabilities from impacting business operations. By providing a window into the state of application security programs for organizations that build software, ThreadFix offers customers the ability to actively maintain large volumes of applications. The platform exponentially reduces automated scanner findings, saving time and helping security teams focus on remediating the most critical vulnerabilities first.
“We are honored to be recognized by these award programs for our continued efforts to provide a superior solution for software development and application security programs,” said Dan Cornell, CTO and Principal at Denim Group. “Given the recent high-profile breaches involving the software supply chain, deploying software without serious security vulnerabilities is a corporate imperative. ThreadFix delivers critical time-savings for security analysts by reducing application vulnerability counts by up to 35%, allowing managers to more effectively use their existing tools, saving time and minimizing reporting noise.”
ThreadFix is the first product in the industry to provide a comprehensive view of the state of software security within an organization. The platform puts the power back in the hands of businesses; enabling them to grow their application security initiatives by amplifying the value of their team’s resources. ThreadFix delivers a clearly defined view of application portfolio risk and knowledge from outside resources so that all organizations can address software security.
