With a decade of experience in the cybersecurity industry as a hacker, John has a passion for leading hackers, defenders, and intelligence analysts to stop threat actors. He is a former United States Naval officer, previously led global strategy at IBM X-Force, is OSCP-certified, and has significant experience in offensive security and threat intelligence. His experience extends across several industries, including finance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and life sciences, and healthcare. His work has appeared on or been covered in outlets such as Fast Company, Dark Reading, VentureBeat, TechRepublic, and more.
MANDY POTE, Managing Principal, Cyber Risk Advisory | Coalfire
Mandy provides a comprehensive range of cybersecurity services to Coalfire’s clients, including risk assessments, privacy assessments, third-party risk assessments, cybersecurity maturity assessments, and virtual CISO program management support. She is well versed with several frameworks including NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls, NIST CSF, etc. Prior to Coalfire, Mandy worked at Ernst & Young in the IT Risk Advisory practice as an independent auditor. Mandy holds several certifications including: CISSP, CCSK, CRISC, CIPP/E, and CMMC RP.
