MAXINE HOLT, Sr. Director, Cybersecurity | Omdia
Maxine Holt leads the Omdia cybersecurity research group and is the lead architect of the Omdia Cybersecurity Ecosystem. Her team delivers a comprehensive cybersecurity research program to support vendors, service providers, and enterprise clients. Maxine also leads the Omdia Analyst Summit at the high-profile Black Hat event series.
Maxine has spent her entire career as an IT and security professional. She has been at Omdia since 2018, following a spell at the Information Security Forum (ISF), developing thought-leading security research for ISF members. Before ISF, Maxine spent 15 years in research at Ovum, starting her career as a software developer in the financial services industry and consulting for the financial services and internet sectors. Maxine is a regular event speaker and contributes articles to high-profile publications in cybersecurity.
KAREN LAUGHTON, EVP, Cyber Advisory Services | Coalfire
Karen Laughton is Executive Vice President of Cyber Advisory Services. Throughout her extensive experience in IT security and compliance leadership roles, she has worked closely with government agencies as they shift towards cloud adoption and with cloud service providers as they endeavor to meet federal, state, and local government requirements. Karen has compliance experience across the public and private sector, including within financial services, healthcare, and international markets.
Karen partners with leaders in the technology industry to build their federal go-to-market strategy, determining the best and most cost-effective path for achieving their business goals. She and her team of dedicated cybersecurity professionals strive to improve the overall security posture of clients and navigate compliance with various standards such as FedRAMP, FISMA, Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG), NIST 800-171/CMMC, NIST CSF, HITRUST, ISO, SOC, and PCI.
