WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FOSE, the intersection of people, technology and knowledge, experienced unprecedented growth in its 2014 conference, with registrations growing 40 percent compared to last year. More than 5,000 government and industry professionals registered for the conference, which took place May 13-15 in Washington, D.C., to learn more about topics such as the cloud, cybersecurity, mobile government, big data, records and information management (RIM), acquisition and procurement, project management and other key topics impacting the government technology market.

FOSE 2014 also saw a 25 percent increase in C-level executive registrations, as more leaders recognize the value of FOSE’s educational sessions as a way to keep pace with the evolving IT landscape and its implications for government.

“FOSE 2014 continued its rich tradition of gathering industry thought leaders and technology experts to share cutting-edge strategies and new solutions that enable government agencies to operate effectively,” said David Myers, event director of Public Sector Events at 1105 Media. “We are excited to see such impressive growth in our conference, and look forward to further enhancing our agenda in 2015 to encourage even more government employees and industry executives to take advantage of unique educational and networking opportunities that can only be found at FOSE.”

In addition to seven session tracks, FOSE offered keynotes and special presentations by former National Security Advisor Thomas Donilon; leaders of local, state and federal law enforcement agencies involved in catching the Boston Marathon bombing suspects; experts on change and agility in federal projects and programs; and women leaders in technology.

Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the FOSE Expo, which featured 150 exhibitors – from local vendors to Fortune 500 companies – that provide critical technology products and services to the government and private industry.

“FOSE allowed us to have conversations about our FedRAMPcentral platform and cloud security services that have led to new relationships with agency personnel to better understand how the FedRAMP deadline will impact cloud security and procurement,” said Marshall England from Coalfire System, Inc.

FOSE 2015 will take place Wednesday, April 1 to Thursday, April 2, with lightning rounds taking place exclusively on March 31 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. To get updates on next year’s event, visit the FOSE website.
