May 13, 2026

CHICAGO – Coalfire, an industry-leading cybersecurity services and solutions company, today announced it has received provisional accreditation as an auditor for the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company’s AIUC-1 certification program, a leading framework for evaluating the security, safety, and reliability standards of AI agents and enterprise AI systems.

This provisional accreditation further expands Coalfire’s growing AI assurance capabilities as enterprises accelerate adoption of AI technologies and autonomous agents.

“Organizations are looking for stronger assurance that their AI systems are governed responsibly, operating securely, and resilient against emerging threats,” said Brad Little, CEO, Coalfire. “AIUC-1 combines governance validation with technical testing to provide a more meaningful measure of AI trust and operational maturity.”

“Coalfire brings deep experience in cybersecurity, independent assurance, and technical security testing,” said Rajiv Dattani, Co-founder of the Artificial Intelligence Underwriting Company. “Their provisional accreditation will strengthen the AIUC-1 ecosystem and help organizations validate both the governance and technical resilience of their AI systems.”

AIUC-1 was developed to help organizations demonstrate trusted AI governance through independent validation of operational controls, security practices, and technical testing of AI systems and agents.

Coalfire continues to expand its AI-focused services, including ISO 42001 certification, AI security & model testing, AI threat hunting, and AI security evaluations.
