Westminster, Colo. – May 17, 2016 – Coalfire, a leader in cybersecurity risk management and compliance services, today announced it will be a presenting sponsor for The Chertoff Group’s latest Security Series event, “The Three T’s of the Digital Economy: Technology, Threat, and Trust” to be held on Thursday, May 19, at the Four Seasons Hotel in East Palo Alto, Calif.

“We’re excited to sponsor this event with The Chertoff Group, a global leader in the cybersecurity market in both investment and in advisory capacities, to shine light on the issues we believe are critical to the digital economy,” CEO Larry Jones said. “This edition of the Security Series gathers together many of the brightest minds from the public and private sectors in a discussion of today’s most pressing security, technology and policy challenges.”

In addition to Coalfire’s sponsorship of the event, president and co-founder Kennet Westby will present a panel discussion, entitled "Leaning Forward with Your Cyber Investments...Without Falling on Your Face”. The talk highlights Westby's experiences as Coalfire's chief security strategist, culling together experiences from his career in cybersecurity, working in an advisory capacity for some of the world's largest businesses. With more than 20 years of leadership in IT security, Westby keeps Coalfire and its clients ahead of the threats that can undermine today's investments in application development, e-commerce, and business integration management.

Now in its fourth year, The Chertoff Group Security Series provides technology, business and security leaders and managers with an insightful platform for serious discussion around today’s evolving threats, and the ensuing policy considerations impacting today’s digital economy.
