Two Coalfire Executives Among the 2015 Federal 100 from Federal Computer Week

Robert Barnes and Tom McAndrew recognized for federal IT expertise

WASHINGTON, D.C. – February 10, 2015 –Coalfire, a leading risk management and compliance firm, announced that two employees have been named to the Federal 100 list by the publication Federal Computer Week (FCW). The two recipients are Robert Barnes, public sector practice director at Coalfire and Lieutenant Commander Tom McAndrew, the chief operations officer of Coalfire and a Navy reservist who is responsible for tactical cyber special projects at the Office of Naval Research.

According to FCW, “The Federal 100 Awards are presented to government, industry and academic leaders who have played pivotal roles that affect how the federal government acquires, develops and manages IT. These individuals have gone above and beyond their daily responsibilities and have made a difference in the way technology has transformed their agency or accelerated their agency’s mission.”

The Federal 100 Awards are now in their 26th year. Honorees will participate in the Federal 100 Awards Gala in Washington D.C. on March 26.
