Meet the Team
DivisionHex’s presence in the NOC is led by seasoned cybersecurity leaders:

Neil "Grifter" Wyler, VP of Defensive Services, DivisionHex at Coalfire
With more than 20 years of experience in penetration testing, physical security, incident response, and threat hunting. He has spent over two decades supporting Black Hat Security Briefings—including running the Black Hat NOC—and 23 years as part of DEF CON. Neil is a frequent speaker at events such as the RSA Conference, has authored several information security books, and serves on review boards for DEF CON and Black Hat while contributing to Black Hat training. He is also the founder of DC801 and 801 Labs.

Bart Stump, Managing Principal, DivisionHex at Coalfire
With more than 17 years of experience working across leading security vendors and organizations. He has been a longtime contributor to the security community, serving on staff at Black Hat Security Briefings for 14 years and previously as a goon at DEF CON for 11 years. Based in Salt Lake City, Bart is actively involved in local security groups and meetups and shares his perspective with the community on X at @theStump3r.
Together, they bring decades of experience across threat hunting, incident response, and large-scale security operations.
